Nicollet Update for July 10th
The work at the 35th and Nicollet intersection has started. The closure is expected to last 2 weeks, weather dependent. This week Thomas and Sons will be working on the underground structures. Next week they will begin to work on grading and rebuilding the intersection. While the intersection is closed, the rest of Nicollet Ave will remain open. All businesses will be open.
The first phase of the 2012 Nicollet Ave reconstruction, between Lake St and 32nd St, is open with one lane in each direction. There may be parking restrictions at times while crews complete pouring the new sidewalk around tree grates and installing signs and new streetlights.
