Curious About Your Neighbors Curiosities?
At neighborhood events this month we have been asking community members to bring objects from their homes that best represent them, their story and the community. We have already seen some pretty awesome objects, and are looking forward to taking more photos of neighborhood curiosities in the upcoming weeks. In case you're curious about what other people have been bringing to these events her are a few examples:

Christopher and Shona brought two objects that represent interesting parts of their life. Christopher brought a jar of shells that he hand picked of a beach in Maui and then lovingly organized according to size in this jar. Shona came with a picture of here recently departed feline friend Monster, who's image will now live on as part of the Curiosities of Lyndale project.

This brother and sister team brought their Irish step dancing shoes and a favorite stuffed animal.

Christina brought a bunch of really interesting and unique things including a ceramic jack-a-lope, and an antique typewriter. Here she is pictured holding up two hand painted Dala Horses that were from her Scandinavian Grandmother.
