Twister Hare Salon, 3401 Nicollet / Painting days: August 11th-13th, Community Celebration: Saturday August 13th, Afternoon
The Lyndale and Kingfield Neighborhood Associations are partnering with local artist Hibaaq Ibrahim from Moon Juice Arts and the Fortune Relief and Youth Empowerment Organization, FRAYEO, to paint a new mural outside of Twisted Hare (3401 Nicollet, on north side of building)! On August afternoons 11th-13th, Hibaaq will be painting the mural along with youth involved in FRAYEO’s local peacebuilding trainings. Neighbors are always invited to stop by! Plus on Saturday August 13th, there will be a community celebration involving food, music, hair braiding, Kubb playing, a mini farmers market and more! More information provided closer to the event.
