Crime & Safety Committee

The Crime & Safety Committee is responsible for working on community safety issues affecting the Lyndale neighborhood. They make recommendations to the Board of Directors related to community safety issues, crime issues, programs and projects impacting the neighborhood.

They typically meet on the third Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the 5th Precinct Community Room. Contact info@lyndale.org for details.

Environment Committee

The Environment Committee actively supports projects in the neighborhood related to food, green space, and community gardens, as well as renewable forms of energy.

They typically meet on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Contact environment@lyndale.org for details.

Engagement Committee

The Engagement Committee creates events that inspire neighborly connections, celebrate
diversity, and empower residents to actively shape Lyndale’s future. The Engagement Committee’s mission is building a connected Lyndale: where neighbors are engaged and empowered.

Housing Committee

The purpose of this committee is to work on the built environment of the neighborhood. The committee makes recommendations to the Board related to: housing and economic development programs, zoning requests, and the built environment.
