The Enitan Story Monthly Clinics in Lyndale

The Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) is thrilled to announce a new partnership with The Enitan Story (TES). The Enitan Story will host a monthly clinic at the South Nicollet Action Center to share resources and help for those who have experienced or are currently experiencing domestic violence or human trafficking (including labor trafficking and sex trafficking).

About the Monthly Clinic

Join TES for a monthly clinic at the South Nicollet Action Center (SNAC), 3537 Nicollet Avenue Minneapolis, MN 55408, on the first Thursday of the month from 2 – 4 p.m.

During your visit, TES can:

  • share resources for legal services, mental wellness, job, and life skills, and connect to other relevant comprehensive services.
  • conduct needs assessment for domestic violence, labor trafficking/labor exploitation, and sex trafficking/sexual exploitation.
  • help if you are experiencing domestic violence or human trafficking.

About The Enitan Story

The Enitan Story came from Bukola Oriola’s story as a victim and survivor of human trafficking in the United States. The Enitan Story was created in August of 2013. The Enitan Story (TES) operates from a survivor-informed and subject matter expert with a lived experience point of view.

They provide unique and individualized services to individuals who have experienced or are at risk for domestic violence and human trafficking/exploitation (labor and sex) across various ages, race, and gender across the state of Minnesota and beyond.

Enitan means someone with a story and it’s pronounced any-ton.

Mission: Advocate for victims and empower survivors of human trafficking / domestic violence.

Vision: Join hands with the community, empower with knowledge to prevent our loved ones from becoming victims of human trafficking.

Goal: To change their stories from bad to good by providing them with services and referring them to other resources available for help.

  • Training for nonprofit & for-profit organizations
  • Job & Life Skills for traditional job or entrepreneurship
  • Referrals for comprehensive services
  • Capacity building for survivors to become subject matter experts with lived experience.
  • Weekly Support Group – Gratitude Support Activity (GSA)
  • The Enitan Story Youth Empowerment Circle (TESYEC)
  • One-on-one meeting.
