Stop into either Butter Bakery Café or Royal Grounds Coffee this week and drop off a Valentine’s Day card written for 1 of 100 of the community’s senior citizens that have Meals on Wheels delivered to their house each day. Meals on Wheels delivers food in our community to individuals who can benefit from home-delivered meals with a focus on older adults and people with disabilities.
Don’t have an extra Valentine’s Day card lying around? Stop by Digs to pick up one or take one of ours from next to the basket. Just fill it out while you enjoy a treat and warm beverage from your local coffee shop and drop it into the basket for KFNA to collect!
Got extra Valentine’s Day cards laying around your house? Bring a few extras for neighbors to write! Remember, we need 100 in total!
KFNA will collect these cards on Sunday, February 12th and get them to our neighborhood Meals on Wheels coordinator to put into their Tuesday lunch box! Visit here to learn more about who Meals on Wheels serves, how affordable it is with the price based upon the need of the individual, and how to sign up for meals or to volunteer.
