Check out our upcoming meetings and events on our Google Calendar, or scroll down to learn more!

Developers & Nonprofits New Nicollet Mixer
Join us to meet and mingle with other developers and nonprofits at Centro (2412 Nicollet Ave). There will be a short presentation by the City of Minneapolis Team responsible for the redevelopment of the New Nicollet site (located at Nicollet Ave and Lake St [the old Kmart site]), and then a chance to connect with other organizations interested in the growth and stabilization of our city.
Phase 1 of the New Nicollet redevelopment will include mixed-use buildings with affordable housing above ground-floor spaces for retail, nonprofit service, and Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board program space. For this reason, we feel it is important to connect developers to established nonprofits interested in growth, and nonprofits to developers interested in working with the community to develop a new community-serving space.
The City will require developers to have a letter of interest from a nonprofit as part of their application to the RFP.

Boo'tiful Lyndale Halloween Walk
Join LNA’s Crime & Safety Committee for a neighborhood Halloween walk. Costumes are encouraged and all are welcome, including children and dogs!

Halloween Harvest Bash
The Halloween Harvest Bash will have family-friendly games, pumpkin decorating, plenty of apple cider, and seasonal treats from Butter Bakery Cafe. Costumes are encouraged! Have you chosen your costume yet? We hope to see you (and it) there!

Thanks Walk
Join LNA’s Crime & Safety Committee for a neighborhood walk to deliver thank you letters to your neighbors! We'll meet at Painter Park and then walk the neighborhood dropping off letters as we go.
Express your gratitude for a neighbor or local business by writing a Letter of Thanks to be delivered during the Thanks Walk. No postage required!
To ensure delivery, letters must:
Be fully addressed, including the apartment number
Have a recipient that lives or operates within the boundaries of the Lyndale Neighborhood (Lake Street to 36th St and 35W to Lyndale Ave).
Letters can be dropped off at the SNAC Office (3537 Nicollet Ave) Tuesdays or Thursdays from 9am-6pm.
LNA is happy to provide up to five thank you cards to anyone that needs them. To pick them up, please reach out to info@lyndale.org.

Please bring at least four bags of six cookies each (24 cookies total), plus a few extra to share and enjoy at the event.

E-Waste Collection Event
Lyndale Neighborhood Association, Kingfield Neighborhood Association, and Tangletown Neighborhood Association are partnering with Repowered — with support from the City of Minneapolis — to make it easy for neighbors to safely recycle unwanted data-bearing electronics such as cell phones and laptops. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Accepted items:
Cell phones
Tablets and e-readers
Laptops, computers and monitors
External hard drives
Associated cables and cords
Keyboards and personal printers
To ensure data security, this event ONLY accepts the items listed above. All other e-waste will be turned away, as it can be recycled or disposed of for free or low-cost through the City of Minneapolis or Hennepin County. Questions? Email: info@tangletown.org.
This event is supported by the City of Minneapolis Division of Solid Waste & Recycling
