Lyndale Education Program
The Lyndale Neighborhood Association (LNA) offers a wide range of free in-person Adult Basic Education (ABE) programs, including English, a Driver's Permit Course, and Computer Basics instruction in South Minneapolis.

Online English Classes
Free weekly English classes for anyone who wants to learn English. Work with a professional teacher or trained volunteer with a small group of students to learn and build community. Whether you’re just starting out or want to get better, we will meet you where you are to help you reach your goals!
Computer Basics Classes
Explore the world of computers in our free, beginner-friendly computer class! Discover how to use a computer, send emails, and surf the web. Join us for a fun and supportive learning adventure.
This class is taught in English with support for English language learners.

Driver’s Permit Course
Prepare for the Minnesota Driver’s Permit written exam in a seven-week class. Passing the exam allows you to drive with a licensed driver and is the first step to getting your driver’s license. Classes will be in Spanish. We ask that students please commit to regular attendance.

Somali-Speaking Computer Basics Class
Taught entirely in Somali, join us and learn how to use a computer, send emails, and surf the web in this fun and supportive learning adventure. All somali-speaking learners are welcome.
